Nutrition Midterm

The last of the series of exams which I have been having over the last 2 weeks is tomorrow: the nutrition mid-term. Hard to get excited over actually studying it, because most of the sentences in the vitamins/minerals/herbal supplement chapters start with:

Even though there have been no clinical trials investigating or proving XYZ…
I thought this portion of medical school was called Basic Sciences, not Basic Conjecture, Basic Pseudoscience, or Basic Let's Make Stuff Up for Medical Students to Memorize…

we had a nutrition lecture the other day, and the professor kept holding up bags of cheetos and doritos and saying how many calories and fat they had and how horrible they were. it made me SO hungry. and that’s ALL I got out of that lecture.
lol, would have been even better if the prof was eating them while telling you how bad they work..and smoking at the same time, since so many medical professionals ironically seem to do that too…
