[1] U.S. House backs limits on malpractice suits - "The House of Representatives on
Thursday approved medical malpractice legislation that would
limit awards in lawsuits for pain and suffering to $250,000. The bill was approved 230 to 194, with two members voting "present," must now to go the Senate for approval. But the House has repeatedly passed malpractice caps, only to see the legislation stall in the other chamber."
