Hurricane Emily

Hurricane Emily has passed the Windward Isles with little more than a whimper. She was certainly no Ivan. The weather people said that she did reach a Category I Hurricane by the time she reached Grenada, but it felt more like a Tropical Storm. Anyways, everyone is fine, and the buildings sustained no structural damage. The only problem is I probably can't get home until Monday… :evil: :evil: :evil:

wow - glad you are alright, the times union today said there was a lot of damage in grenada and that the storm is now a category 4 (must have gotten some power after you guys!) anyway….we are glad to hear you are alright and look forward to seeing you. i guess this is kinda like a “been there done that” for you after ivan. :grin:

Yeah, been there done that, and hopefully won’t have to do it again! :-)

Yeah I guess there was some damage in the north of the island, but nothing here…

Hello from Bormio, Italy. Why do they cancel your flight after Emily has moved on ?
