Sorry I've been lazy… I've been home for the last week, and I took a break from posting. (Mostly because I've either been working at the hospital or volunteering at the ambulance 24/7.) I should get something new up soon.

Hurricane Emily has passed the Windward Isles with little more than a whimper. She was certainly no Ivan. The weather people said that she did reach a Category I Hurricane by the time she reached Grenada, but it felt more like a Tropical Storm. Anyways, everyone is fine, and the buildings sustained no structural damage. The only problem is I probably can't get home until Monday…

Crap… My flight has been cancelled for tomorrow (Well, really today, I guess). Right now I have been rescheduled for Thursday, but who knows if that will happen…

Not again…

AT 5 PM AST…2100Z…HURRICANE WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS BY THEIR RESPECTIVE GOVERNMENTS…BARBADOS…GRENADA…THE GRENADINES…ST. VINCENT AND ST. LUCIA.

Hmm, my flight is scheduled to depart Barbados about the time Emily is supposed to get there… I'm thinking it might be cancelled, so I might be here a little bit longer.

Since someone was getting concerned, this is just a quick note to let you know I am still here. Friday I took the last exam of third term, and I have been doing RA-type duties (check-outs, storage, airport runs) all weekend. It's a busy time for me right now, I'll get back to posting soon, I swear!

60 hours until I take off for home!
