Low Blood Sugar now a legal defense - "The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that low blood sugar meets the legal definition of "involuntary intoxication.""
(via Kevin, MD). I once checked my blood sugar after a long shift in the ED without any meal breaks (not an uncommon occurrence.) It was 54 (normal 80-120) - I wonder if I was working while intoxicated?
