Genetics Final

T minus 17 hours until the Genetics final. Or is it 16 hours? I just noticed that the University-wide term calendar and the Genetics syllabus have two different times listed for the start of the final.

Update: I did make it at the correct time to the exam, but I am wondering now if I made it to the correct place, as the final I took did not look anything like the Genetics that was in the course notes packet, where it was promised all questions would be derived from.

Now it's off to study Parasitology… Hopefully that exam will have more correlation between what was taught and what is tested.

Asides Implemented

As you may have noticed, I have implemented an asides feature, courtesy of ColdForged's instructions, in the sidebar. Basically these are short news items/links of interest that don't merit their own post. You may notice that the latest post is Genetics-related, which I took a quick break from. (Hey, even our neuroscience professor said you needed occasional breaks, and trying to study continuously was no good.)

These asides are not syndicated in the main site feeds, so if you wish to subscribe to the asides via RSS, the feed is here. Also they won't be syndicated to the LiveJournal mirror site, unless a public outcry develops.
