As you may have noticed, I have implemented an asides feature, courtesy of [1] ColdForged's instructions, in the sidebar. Basically these are short news items/links of interest that don't merit their own post. You may notice that the latest post is Genetics-related, which I took a quick break from. (Hey, even our neuroscience professor said you needed occasional breaks, and trying to study continuously was no good.)

These asides are not syndicated in the main site feeds, so if you wish to subscribe to the asides via RSS, the feed is [2] here. Also they won't be syndicated to the [3] LiveJournal mirror site, unless a public outcry develops.
