How do you lose your life in the line of EMS duty? Were they fire EMS maybe? Or ambulance accidents?
Basically any way you can normally lose your life — and you just happen to be on duty. It’s possible to be shot/murdered, but most likely is heart attacks and ambulance crashes. The volunteer from Castelton had a heart attack while driving the ambulance, leading to a crash.
