Sleep or lack thereof
Sunday, April 24th, 2005 at 11:52 pm
It's almost midnight. I have to get up at 7:15 AM for class, and I like my beauty sleep.
Why am I still up?
Well, for some reason, my body doesn't like to go to sleep when it is drenched in sweat. 81 degrees according to the temperature-sensing A/C remote.
No, they still haven't come to fix my air-conditioner. When I turned in my housing contract on Friday (just in case I decide not to do the RA thing again), I spoke to the Housing Supervisor about it, and she said, "if I can't make my RA's happy, no one is going to be happy." With that she turned to call Maintenance, which is what I have been doing for weeks. Maybe she'll have more pull than me, and someone will actually show up. Maybe now that there is an error light on the unit they will be able to do something about it.
Well, I guess it's time to go and try to pharmacologically induce sleep again.
Oooh wait, I feel a slight bit of coolness coming from the A/C, better get to bed quick. (or I might just be hallucinating again…)

I feel… Maybe your AC has it out for you?
But I understand the inability to sleep when you’re that hot. To bad you couldn’t just hop down to the shore and sleep there.
Haha
Nice idea, but I am kind of required to sleep in my room for my job…
