Too Tall?

In today's Neuroscience lab, our clinical case involved the effect of a traumatic insult (knife in back of neck) to the right half of the spinal cord in the cervical region, at level C7. Upon discussing the effect on the Anterolateral System (spinothalamic tract), I was asked what spinal cord levels would be affected in light of Lissauer's Tract (collaterals of the ALS nerves that synapse 2 levels above and below each spinal segment).
My response? Loss of pain and temperature, levels C5-C9
I may be tall, but I don't think that qualifies me for a couple of extra vertebrae
(There are only 7 cervical vertebrae. Correct answer C5-T2). And yes, I knew that, I just wasn't thinking. (The complexity of the math threw me off.
