Hobo Style

Argh… Tomorrow marks two weeks until midterms start… Consequently, I have been spending the whole day studying, with the one exception of driving to the Grand Beach Resort to sell my old microwave. (Yeah, where they are forbidden.) :-)

In order to save time for studying, I even ate my lunch hobo-style: soup out of a can that I didn't even bother to heat. Hopefully there will be something more interesting (or warmer) for dinner.

Ok, 30-second break over, back to the books! :???: :-)

You sure u only took 30 seconds off there? Don’t forget to treat yourself sometimes! All work and no play definitely makes me grumpy :mad: .

Good luck with the studying! Do the people who are staying in the hotel get their rooms made up for them? And do they then have to hide the microwaves? Interesting happenings on your island…

Alana: Ok, so maybe it was a minute. :-) But I am taking a break today and taking a nap, since I couldn’t sleep last night for some reason. And thanks for the compliment re: site, I really can’t take credit for the design, since it is the default that comes with the new version of Wordpress, except for some slight modifcations (menu bar, print, Friend’s Only section, etc.) And yes, most of the pictures in the header are mine - or taken by a family member (i.e. I can’t drive an ambulance and take a picture of myself at the same time :grin: ) The only ones I/family member didn’t take are the Hurricane Ivan ones (since my camera was dead after the Hurricane), and the “Medical School” ones (since I really don’t have a scanning electron microscope…) :-)

Sonja: No, the people staying in the hotel do not get linen service - they needed to bring their own. Not sure if they have regular housekeeping service or not. I know we get it on campus, so I would assume… But since the microwave is sold, it is not for me to worry about anymore…
