Last evening I went on my first night dive in Grenada (simply because it was the first one offered). It was pretty cool, though a bit crowded (16 divers in a group). It was on the Quarter Wreck, a smaller cargo vessel that sank in the harbor, but then was moved out to a sandy patch surrounded by reef in about 40ft of water. Only the stern section/propeller/engine block remain, hence "Quarter Wreck." Poking its head out of its hiding place in the engine block, we say a large (6″ wide) green moray eel. Just as I was floating over the eel's open and gaping mouth, the hair of another diver got tangeled in my snorkel. Visions of the eel coming out of hiding and biting me quickly flew into my brain, but then they quickly passed, as I reasoned that this was not in their nature. (At least I hoped.) Eventually, the girl managed to free her hair, and I continued my dive without any chunks taken out of my skin. We continued on to the reef, where we saw some reef fish, and a stingray "flying" through the water. I also saw a very large lobster, and since I hadn't had dinner yet, he was very tempting. All and all it was a good dive, and maybe the dive shop will be doing more of them, considering there were more people on the boat for the night dive then the day dives!

After that, I came home and tended to some RA duties, checking people in, etc. At midnight, I recieved a call from Security that there were 2 students at the airport, whose flight was delayed 5 hours, waiting to be picked up. Luckily one of them was going to the hotel, where I didn't have to wake another RA up, but the other was going to Grand Anse dorm, where I had to wake up an RA, who was understandbly not happy, considering she was not even covering the building where this student was going, but she was the only RA with access to the keys for that area that I could find. (Was that just a hugely run-on sentence or what? Must be the German in me… )

The past few days have been more of the same - airport pick-ups, checking people in, and class-stuff. Nothing really too exciting. Well it's off to grab breakfast/lunch
