Still Homeless

A friend of a friend just sent this recent picture of my apartment in Grenada:

Hmm… Still no roof - might be an important addition. :???: But at least the power lines are up :grin:

And the tree blocking the driveway is cleared… And even looks like my rental car that was parked in front of the apartment during the entire hurricane (without any damage) is gone. I mistakenly took the key back to the US with me when I was evacuated, so I had to FedEx it back to the car rental company…

They still have time, maybe it’s a supply problem. Weren’t you going to try on campus?

Yeah, I applied for the RA thing, but they haven’t let me know yet… Haven’t even answered my email about when decisions will be made.

I also applied for regular on-campus housing, but there are only 5 singles available and they had 28 people apply, so they are running a lottery.

If that doesn’t work out, I wouldn’t mind moving back to my off-campus apt, as long as it has roof/windows/etc.
