Hospital Xmas Party
Sunday, December 5th, 2004 at 2:29 pm
Last night went to the ED's annual Christmas Party…. In my 7 years at the hospital, this is the first one that I've been to. It was a rather good time, (considering they had an open bar)
but the DJ kept playing "old people" music, which I guess was expected, given the population distribution of the attendees. However going was simply worth it to get a "blackmail" picture of an MD (the Chief of Emergency Medicine) standing on a chair doing the YMCA:
After the old people went to bed, the younger crowd headed out to the Big House, for a few more drinks and dancing. That was definately more fun. (As a side note, another benefit of having a badge in your wallet: No ID check/No cover charge… The bouncers actually told me to go find the manager - maybe they thought I was a cop or something doing a sting)
