Grenada Update

The Chancellor of St. George's University sent out this message today:

I am pleased to announce officially that the university is returning to full operations in Grenada in Jan 2005 the results of the housing survey indicates that there should be enough room on campus for upper-class students who want it since many students have indicated that they will live off-campus. Grenada is repairing itself at a much quicker pace than we expected.

In other good news, the Triple Reels Cinema is back up and running… with relatively new releases :smile: This is good news since my former apartment is the next driveway down, and if they have power, hopefully I have power :grin:

Cool! Are you looking forward to going back? Will your stuff still be in your apartment and will you move back in there?

Yup, definately looking forward to going back. As for my stuff, don’t know if it will be there or not. I have actually applied for on-campus housing, but if that doesn’t work out, I will probably move back. One of my neighbors has been in contact with the landlord, who says the apartment will be ready for January. (Though rent is going up.) :neutral:

Further good news: Today I recieved my first spam from a Grenadian business — turns out I will be able to buy S. African Cape wine when I get back. :grin:
